From 24-29th October, Virgin Records are hosting an art show to celebrate the past 40 years of the label. Describing themselves as a ‘cultural and musical disrupter’, they have been home to mavericks, misfits, rebels, geniuses and nonconformists since their first release in 1973, Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells – a record no other label at the time would touch.

Held at Studio B1 in London, the show will include a unique ‘soundscape’ incorporating clips from interviews and TV appearances. There will be art installations made exclusively for the Exhibition! by leading Virgin artists including the likes of The Chemical Brothers and Massive Attack. There’ll be a chance to dig through the archives with photography, album covers, logos and posters, clothes and press articles.

Other events throughout the week include early evening panel discussions and acoustic sets.
