Nokia MixRadio are predicting that David Bowie and boyband One Direction will win big at the BRIT Awards 2014 tonight.

Nokia MixRadio reveals its predictions based on the “thumbs up” and “thumbs down” feature from their Brit Award-based playlists decided upon by Nokia MixRadio’s team of  music experts – playlists include Best of BRITS and BRIT 2014 Nominees.

One Direction seem popular for Best British single and group, and David Bowie is predicted to take home Best British Male Solo. Singer songwriter Jake Bugg was voted by Nokia MixRadio listeners as the most unpopular.

When it comes to the girls, Ellie Goulding is ranked as the most popular British female soloist and covered the bases with two nomination in the BRITs singles. Breakthrough Act goes to London Grammar who look like they may well snatch a win. John Newman, Love Me Again has divided opinion with equal likes and  dislikes.

The list has been put together based on popularity statistics on the free music streaming service.
