Classic Pop is exclusively hosting the video for the new Blancmange single ‘Paddington’ directed by Tone Davies for www.playworks.tv .

Released digitally on iTunes on March 9, ‘Paddington’ is the first taste of Blancmange’s new album Semi Detached, out two weeks later on March 23.

The album is Blancmange’s first since 2011’s comeback album Blanc Burn, and the first not to feature original member Stephen Luscombe, whose long-term health problems meant he was unable to join singer Neil Arthur on the new record.

The album’s 10 songs include a tribute to Mark E Smith’s band on The Fall and a cover of Can’s I Want More. It’s promoted with a pair of gigs at art gallery Red in London’s Shoreditch on May 15-16.

Tickets are £22.50 from www.redgallerylondon.com, with support from experimental artist Bernholz.
