Kim Wilde releases a deluxe version of her Christmas album Wilde Winter Songbook on December 7 and plays a one-off festive gig at Shepherds Bush Empire on December 18.

Originally released in 2013, Wilde Winter Songbook features a mix of original festive songs and covers, including duets with Nik Kershaw on Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree, Wilde’s actor husband Hal Fowler on new song Burn Gold and her father Marty and brother Ricky on a cover of Fleet Foxes’ White Winter Hymnal.

The six new songs for the deluxe version include an acoustic cover of Wham!’s White Christmas, a version of Munchener Freiheit’s 1988 hit Keeping The Dream Alive, remixes by Electric Penguins of Wilde’s songs Burn Gold and Hope, plus new songs Angels Sing and Isobel’s Dream. It also adds a DVD featuring videos for several songs from the album.

Tickets for Wilde’s gig go on sale on Friday. She recently performed at several ‘80s festivals over the summer.
