Lloyd Cole will bring the electric sound of his new album, Standards to life early next year when cult group The Leopards star as his backing band. The Leopards are a rock band fronted by guitar-slinging Glasgow legend, ‘Fast’ Mick Slaven. These shows will be the first Lloyd has done accompanied by a band since reforming with Commotions in 2004.

“The Leopards make a perfect primal rock ‘n’ roll sound. Mick Slaven is a genius. Add me and my songs, shake, and it’s the dirty martini of dreams. Mine, anyway. I’m (simply) thrilled,” says Lloyd.

Lloyd Cole will be joined by The Leopards in:
