Icehouse are being given the long-deserved, comprehensive treatment their music deserves by way of a plethora of releases on the Repertoire Records label. On October 28th, Icehouse will release five albums that showcase their multi-faceted talent in the form of The Best Of, 12 Inch Versions and Remixes Vols 1 & 2, White Heat (30 Hits) and Primitive Man.

30 Hits offers a bonus DVD featuring official videos and rare TV appearances, alongside two CDs of newly remastered music. Their 1982 album, Primitive Man is being reissued with seven bonus tracks added to the 10 track original album, which included ‘Hey Little Girl’, ‘Street Cafe’ and the classic, ‘Great Southern Land’.

Iva Davies has won great praise in recent years for his work away from Icehouse. In 2004 he won a prestigious APRA Award for his work on the soundtrack for Master and Commander, a film in which Russell Crowe starred.

Icehouse’s succession of new and old releases will be available on 28th October.
