On December 15th Stephen Emmer and Julian Lennon release their new take on Stephen and Neil Crossley’s Sleep For England, the third release to be taken from the digital release of the album International Blue.

Produced by Tony Visconti and inspired by alt-Christmas tunes including Jona Lewie’s ‘Stop The Cavalry’, The Pretenders’ ‘2000 Miles’, ‘Father Christmas’ by The Kinks and ‘Happy Xmas (War Is Over), this version takes on a the perfect Yuletide flavour with sleigh bells and a full boys choir in support of Lennon’s vocal.

All proceeds from the single going to Julian’s charity The White Feather Foundation which tackles environmental and humanitarian issues.
