New Order have announced a tour for November, which will follow the September 25 release of their new album Music Complete.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday (July 10), while fans can also sign up to a pre-sale taking place from Wednesday here. In addition to the tour, details of a special Manchester homecoming concert have been promised shortly.

Meanwhile, the band have confirmed details of the guest musicians on Music Complete, which is New Order’s first full album since 2005’s Waiting For The Sirens Call and their first without founding bassist Peter Hook.

The Killers singer Brandon Flowers – who named his band after the fictitious group from the video of New Order’s single Crystal – duets on the album’s closing song Superheated. Iggy Pop sings on Stray Dog, having guested on Love Will Tear Us Apart at a benefit concert in New York last year.

The album’s other guest is La Roux singer Elly Jackson, who sings on two tracks, Tutti Frutti and People On The High Line, as well as providing backing vocals on Plastic. La Roux supported New Order on tour in 2014.

As Classic Pop previously announced, the 11-song album is produced by the band, apart from Singularity and Unlearn This Hatred by The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands, while Pet Shop Boys/Madonna associate Stuart Price co-produces Superheated.

A deluxe £65 version of the album features extended versions of all 11 songs across six sides of coloured vinyl, also available on the band’s website.

Tour dates are:

Brixton Academy (November 16)

Glasgow Academy (19)

Liverpool Olympia (21)

Wolverhampton Civic Hall (24)
