Wychwood Festival returns for its 13th event

The Wychwood Festival, nominated “Best Family Festival” every single year in the UK Festival Awards, returns for its’ 13th event in 2017, to Cheltenham Racecourse over the weekend of 2rd – 4th June, during the summer half term holiday.

The festival has just announced its’ first bands for 2017- Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark will headline on Saturday night, Levellers on Sunday, and Buzzcocks on Friday. Plus other bands also announced so far, include Billy Bragg, Electric Swing Circus, Jesus Jones , Smoove & Turrell , Zak Abel , Kanda Bongo Man , Beans on Toast , CC Smugglers, Katy Ashworth (As seen on Cbeebies), The East Pointers, Professor Elemental, Thrill Collins, Let’s Eat Grandma, Laurel, Big Boy Bloater, IDER, Indigo Rose, Trudy and the Romance, Girli, Harpers Ferry, Cherokii, Skata Tones, Flamingods and Curse Of Lono.
Every year the festival puts on over 100 artists across 4 stages with a deep breath of music styles, as well as over 100 workshops and activities for all ages, a comedy stage, a kids literature festival, a real ale festival, The Headphone Disco every night, great food, optional idyllic camping plus loads more. There is just so much to do for all ages at Wychwood, no wonder it’s the UK’s premier family festival!
