A “new” song by Madonna made an unexpected appearance on iTunes over the weekend.

Titled ‘Behind Me’, the track is suspected to be a demo version of ‘Two Steps Behind Me’ from her sessions for 2015 album ‘Rebel Heart’.

It was thought that the track was a ‘diss track’ aimed at Lagy Gaga, though these claims were dismissed by Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary.

The track, which features little-known artist Guido Dos Santos, has since been removed from iTunes, though according to Gay Times it racked up enough attention to chart inside the Top 50 in 8 countries.

We’re expecting some kind of response from Madonna as this news circulates, especially after she so recently took to Twitter to denounce the forthcoming biopic ‘Blond Ambition’. Watch this space.
