The Killers release new single

The Killers release new single, Bright Lights, their first new music of the year.

The song is an epic Killers track, complete with a huge anthemic chorus, and comes almost a year after the band’s previous single, Your Side Of Town.

This summer, the band embarked on their UK and Ireland ‘Rebel Diamonds’ greatest hits tour – including a six-night residency at The O2 in London – and the Bright Lights release comes just ahead of their Hot Fuss 20-year anniversary Las Vegas residency.

The music video, directed by Micah Bickham, features the upcoming homecoming residency stage. Watch below:

The Killers announced the Vegas residency in January and the shows will see all four founding members of the band, Brandon Flowers (vocals), Dave Keuning (guitar), Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr (drums), celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic debut album, Hot Fuss. The residency will run between 14 August and 1 September at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace – all shows are sold out.

Earlier this year the Official Charts Company revealed that Mr Brightside, Hot Fuss’ lead single, had become the third biggest song of all time in the UK and the longest-running Top 100 hit in Official Chart history – a total which now stands at 421 weeks.
