The singer will be joined by Blancmange’s Neil Arthur on a 14-date jaunt next September

Tom Bailey to perform Thompson Twins’ greatest hits on a 14-date UK tour next September, with guest support from Blancmange’s Neil Arthur.
Widely regarded as one of the most iconic bands of the 80s and celebrated for their unique fusion of pop, new wave, and synth-driven dance music, the Bailey-fronted Thompson Twins enjoyed consistent success on both the singles and albums charts throughout the decade, on both sides of the Atlantic.
Now performing under the name Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey, his shows celebrate the band’s greatest hits, including classics like Hold Me Now, Doctor Doctor, In The Name Of Love, Love On Your Side, If You Were Here, Lies, Lay Your Hands On Me and King For A Day.
This year, Tom and his band – featuring Charlotte Raven (vocals/keyboards/cello), Paulina Szczepaniak (vocals/drums) and Alice Offley (vocals/bass/keyboards) – completed a mini-world tour visiting countries he’d never performed in before for the first time. He also joined forces with The Human League this summer for a series of festivals across the UK which showcased the very best of British synth-pop.
In October 2025 BMG release a new best of album Industry And Seduction – A Thompson Twins collection in 3CD and 2 vinyl LP formats.
