Following his acclaimed 2025 UK tour, Sananda Maitreya announces a series of live releases documenting his return to British stages after more than 20 years.

The tour was met with strong critical response, with Classic Pop’s Dave Freak writing: “Joined by the four-piece Sugar Plum Pharaohs, the two-part show finds Sananda showcasing his entire career – from the soulful pop of his 80s commercial peak, to his recent Post Millennium Rock workouts – a fascinating return for one of pop’s mavericks. Let’s hope he doesn’t wait another 20+ years before coming back.”

Recorded in England during the Sananda Maitreya UK Tour 2025 (October-November 2025) , the new releases from TreeHouse Publishing begin with the three-track live EP A Slice Of Shepherd’s Pie, released on 30 January.

The EP features Pretty Baby alongside exclusive live recordings of Duchess and Losing Becomes Too Easy.

The live album SMNUK’25 ! – Shepherd’s Pie is a journey through the eclectic and compelling musical repertoire of Sananda Maitreya. It spans material from his Post Millennium Rock era, from the most recent studio album The Pegasus Project: Pegasus & The Swan (2024), back through Angels & Vampires and WildCard!; as well as landmark songs from his first four seminal studio albums.
