A judge has ruled in favour of the recent lawsuit against producer George Ian Boxhill, the man behind the forthcoming Prince EP.

Prince lawsuit

Boxhill allegedly signed a confidentiality agreement that stated all of his work with Prince “would remain Prince’s sole and exclusive property,” and as a result the lawsuit, which was filed by Paisley Park and Prince’s estate, has seen the EP disappear from iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play and Amazon.

It’s not a particularly good start to the morning especially after the popoularity of the recently shared title track “Deliverance” saw the EP hit No.1 on the iTunes pre-order chart this morning.

The EP is still available to pre-order at PrinceRogersNelson.com, though only through a direct download and to residents in the U.S. Watch this space for any updates.
