Classic Pop Presents… Popmaster Live was the very first Classic Pop live event, held at etc. venues in Bishops Gate, London on the 22nd April, and a splendid night was had by all…

The evening was highly polished, enormous fun and very well received. Legendary radio host Ken Bruce himself attended and placed himself in the quiz (pop) masters’ chair and live music was provided by My Favourite Waste of Time singer Owen Paul who played a blinding acoustic set

There were 32 teams all in all, the first prize was a hoard of vinyl from Demon Music Group while the second prize was a year subscription to Long Live Vinyl magazine and all the winners received Audio Technica headphones worth £149, Art Vinyl picture frames and a Popmaster Quiz book.

Our post-event research shows that 93% of attendees thought it was Excellent or Very Good Entertainment, and 93% also said they’d come back for another Popmaster Live.
