Classic Pop is offering readers the chance to win an exclusive OMD Prize Bundle.

Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark’s 1985 album Crush, will be reissued for its 40th anniversary on 10 October via UMR/Virgin.

The band’s sixth album features the singles So In Love and Secret, with the former reaching the Top 30 of the charts on both sides of the Atlantic.

Originally released on 17 June 1985, Crush was the first of two studio albums OMD created with producer Stephen Hague. Designed with the American market in mind, the record showcased a more refined, radio-friendly style while still retaining the band’s earlier experimental edge.

The album will be reissued as a 2CD expanded edition, including seven tracks newly mixed from the original multi-track tapes. Among them are four never-before-heard songs, along with B-sides and remixes. A 2LP vinyl version will also contain the seven unreleased tracks, though it excludes the B-sides and the standard extended mix of So In Love. Both formats are packaged with rare photographs and detailed liner notes.

We have an exclusive OMD Prize Bundle up for grabs for Classic Pop readers.

The prize includes:
OMD Test Pressing Of Crush – 40th Anniversary Edition
OMD Discography T-shirt
OMD Discography Poster
