Kate Bush releases Best of The Other Sides on Fish People on 26 September (digital) and 31 October (vinyl and CD).

The release is due to demand from those unable to access the original release of The Other Sides, which was part of the 2018 remastered boxsets featuring B-sides and extra tracks that had never appeared on an album. The Other Sides is no longer available.

Three of the tracks on Best of The Other Sides have also been remastered. Speaking on katebush.com the singer said: “We have remastered Experiment IV and  You Want Alchemy? and both include a small edit. I felt Experiment IV would benefit from a longer intro featuring Alan Murphy’s magnificent guitar.  You Want Alchemy? also has a small edit that tightens up the outro and we’ve re-eq’d the track.  Walk Straight Down The Middle has also benefitted from being re-eq’d. Hope you enjoy the tweaks!”

The release comes at a time when Kate’s song Army Dreamers is skyrocketing online, looking set to become her second most streamed track after Running Up That Hill.  Perhaps the popularity of Army Dreamers right now is a reflection of the current conflicts around the world, a theme Kate has recently returned to with her award-winning anti-war short film Little Shrew – winner of Best Animation at the New York Animation Festival.
