Rising star Sophie Grey. was joined by legendary producer Trevor Horn for a surprise live performance of Video Killed The Radio Star at her show supporting Sting at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London.

Retro Electro Sound

Informed by a deep-rooted love for soulful pop music, hip-hop and 80s-flavoured beats, Sophie Grey. (the period is intentional) blends live instrumentation and sparkling electronic sounds in her original compositions. The up-and-coming pop star released new single Mommy Issues earlier this month. Packed with infectious hooks and an upbeat, synth-driven sound, the track blends heartfelt lyrics with a fun, danceable vibe.

A classically-trained pianist and keyboardist who studied piano performance at Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California, Sophie was mentored by songwriter and Grammy-award-nominated Dr. Patrice Rushen (Forget Me Nots). Sophie also honed her engineering and production skills growing up between Kansas City and Los Angeles where she worked at the renowned Village Recorder Studios.
