Roland Gift entertained a large crowd with a surprise performance at London’s St. Pancras International today (Friday 5 December). He played two Fine Young Cannibals’ hits, Good Thing and Johnny Come Home, before bringing festive cheer with his new single Everybody Knows It’s Christmas.
Roland said, “It’s rare I get to do small pop-up shows like this anymore, so it was great to surprise people at St. Pancras International and play a couple of the classics and even better to have a Christmas singalong – my favourite time of year!”

World-Class Performers
London St. Pancras International has become renowned for regular performances from stars, talented members of the public and visitors from afar, becoming an important part of the atmosphere and culture of the station. Roland became the latest big name to grace the famous St. Pancras International piano.
He joins an array of world-renowned talent to have performed in the station, including Sir Elton John, John Legend, James Arthur, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Jeff Goldblum, Rod Stewart accompanied by Jools Holland, Delta Goodrem, The Darkness and Tom Grennan.

Festive Cheer
As part of Fine Young Cannibals, Roland became a chart-topping star on both sides of the Atlantic, leading to 5 million sales, two BRIT Awards, an Ivor Novello, and three Grammy Award nominations.
The band’s influential career has been documented on the recent career-spanning retrospective FYC40, released today on CD, vinyl and digital.
