New boxset This Far will be released on 9 October and includes all of Sade’s studio work so far

A new Sade boxset has been announced, featuring remastered versions of all of the band’s studio albums to date, on 180-gram heavyweight black vinyl.

Released on 9 October, the set, titled This Far, delivers the first complete collection of Sade’s studio work up to the present day. All six of the band’s albums – Diamond Life (1984), Promise (1985), Stronger Than Pride (1988), Love Deluxe (1992), Lovers Rock (2000) and Soldier Of Love (2010) – are packaged into a beautifully finished, white casebound box.

All six long-players have been meticulously remastered at Abbey Road Studios by the band alongside engineer Miles Showell and co-producer Mike Pela, while the album sleeves have been lovingly reproduced with authentic paper and printing methods, perfectly replicated for the first time since their original releases.

Sade’s albums have amassed a staggering 60 million worldwide sales and have been certified platinum 24 times over. Famous for such dinner party-favourite songs as Your Love Is King, Smooth Operator and By Your Side, Sade have scooped numerous Grammys, MTV Video Music Awards, and a BRIT Award along the way. Their most recent studio album, 2010’s Soldier Of Love, peaked at No.1 in 15 countries, including the US.

This must-have boxset is available to pre-order now.
