Sananda Maitreya reveals JUVENILIA: The Columbia Years, a 4LP boxset bringing together his first four groundbreaking albums, originally released between 1987 and 1995.

Set for release on 6 February 2026, JUVENILIA marks the first time Introducing The Hardline, Neither Fish Nor FleshSymphony Or Damn and Vibrator have been remastered and presented together on premium 180g vinyl, complete with restored artwork and new liner notes by Sananda.

Produced in collaboration with Sony Music UK, Music On Vinyl and TreeHouse Publishing, Sananda Maitreya’s JUVENILIA: The Columbia Years, pays tribute to a pivotal creative era that helped redefine the sound and spirit of modern soul, pop, and rock in the late 1980s and 90s.

Sananda Maitrey said: “These albums represent the journey of a young artist finding his voice: bold, vulnerable, and unafraid to challenge the form. It feels beautiful to finally present them together, in the spirit they were born”.

Each album comes housed in a faithfully recreated sleeve, accompanied by newly written liner notes and visual material from Sananda’s personal archive.

Musical Journey

Following his first four landmark recordings Introducing The Hardline According To Sananda Maitreya (1987), Neither Fish Nor Flesh (1989), Symphony Or Damn (1993) and Vibrator (1995); Sananda embarked on an independent artistic journey that led to the creation of his own Label & Publisher, TreeHouse Publishing.

Through it, he has released a vast and uncompromising body of work including WildCard! (2003), Angels & Vampires (2007), Nigor Mortis (2009), The Sphinx (2011), Return to Zooathalon (2013), The Rise Of The Zugebrian Time Lords (2015), Prometheus & Pandora (2017), Pandora’s PlayHouse (2021) and The Pegasus Project (2024).

Sananda Maitreya’s JUVENILIA: The Columbia Years will be available worldwide through select record stores and online retailers, with pre-orders opening soon via Townsend Music.
