ABBA Arena

With only four months to go until the opening of ABBA’s highly anticipated ABBA Voyage concert, Björn Ulvaeus today visited the site where the band’s purpose built ABBA Arena is being constructed, to switch on the giant ABBA logo on the exterior of the 3,000 capacity venue. Watch the clip here.

In May the arena will be packed to the rafters with fans dancing and singing along to ABBA hits old and new as digital versions of ABBA take to the stage. ABBA Voyage concerts are currently taking bookings up until 4 December 2022 from abbavoyage.com, with best availability from September onwards.

ABBA Voyage opens to the public from Friday 27 May,  and will see the digital versions of ABBA perform a set packed with some of their greatest hits, along with the new tracks I Still Have Faith in You and Don’t Shut Me Down – alongside a ten-piece live band.

ABBA Voyage is directed by Baillie Walsh (Flashbacks of a Fool, Being James Bond, Springsteen and I), and produced by Svana Gisla (David Bowie Blackstar/Lazarus, Beyoncé and Jay Z for HBO, Springsteen and I) and Ludvig Andersson (And Then We Danced, Yung Lean – “In My Head”, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again).

The band are nominated for International Group of the Year at next week’s BRIT Awards.
