Happy Mondays tour in November to mark the 25th anniversary of their Pills ‘N’ Thrills And Bellyaches album.

The band will play the album in full, including its singles ‘Step On’, ‘Kinky Afro’ and ‘Loose Fit’, as well as promising “other hits” on the 18-date tour.

Shaun Ryder said: “There’s some really great work on Pills ‘N’ Thrills. It was the album that put us on Top Of The Pops. Here’s to another 25 years. I’m going to remember it this time.”

Produced by Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne, the band’s third album reached No 4 in the UK. It was followed by 1992’s chaotic Yes Please, which effectively split the band.
