A NIGHT FOR CHRISTINA – stars gather for Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre

Eighties stars gather for a concert in support of the Kenny Thomas Family and The Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre on 6th June at Under The Bridge, Chelsea, London.
Kenny Thomas is one of the UK’s most celebrated soul singers. From his early 90s smash hits “Thinking About Your Love”, “Outstanding” and “Best Of You”, Kenny went on to be a Brit Award nominee and achieve platinum sales for his album Voices. Last year Kenny replaced original vocalist Richard Darbyshire and took over the vocal spot in 80s band Living In A Box.
In February, Kenny’s four year old daughter Christina was diagnosed with a brain tumour. The impact on the family of receiving this news is barely imaginable. The 80s artist community, who have known Kenny for many years, want to do something to help and this will be A Night For Christina.
All profits from ticket sales will help raise funds to support the family, search for interventions to extend Christina’s life and help fund research into this devastating disease, which so often affects the very youngest of children, through the Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre.
A stunning line-up of 80s legends including Tony Hadley, Midge Ure, Kim Wilde, Martin Fry, Go West, Nik Kershaw, Heaven 17, T’Pau and Living In A Box ft Kenny Thomas will perform some of their biggest hits with an all star band. The 80s was arguably the most innovative decade in music history and A Night For Christina brings a group of artists together who, between them, were rarely out of the charts during this wonderful time for music.
This is an opportunity to see them up close and personal in a small west London venue, where they will undoubtedly raise the roof and raise some much needed funds for 4 year old Christina Thomas and our charity partner.
