Bryan Adams has announced details of two big shows in the UK next year, one at the Eden Project on 5 July and the other as the Friday night headliner on 9 July at the Cornbury Festival, near Chipping Norton.

It’s not the first time Adams has appeared at the Eden Project, having previously played at the home of the famous Biomes in 2017. The same year also saw him play the Cornbury Festival for the first time.

Rita Broe, Managing Director of Eden Sessions Ltd, said: “Bryan’s triumphant performance electrified Eden in the summer of 2017 and remains one of our all-time great Sessions. It will be a massive pleasure to welcome this superstar back to Eden for what is sure to be another fantastic show.”

Tickets for the Eden Sessions concert cost £50 plus £5 booking fee and are currently on sale to members of the Inside Track Club and go on general sale at 4.30pm on Monday 14 December on from the Eden Sessions website.

Bryan Adams is the fifth Eden Session confirmed for the summer of 2021, joining four rescheduled shows, after the Sessions this year could not take place due to the impacts of the global pandemic.

The Lionel Richie concert takes place on 9 June, 2021, My Chemical Romance will play on 15 June, 2021, Diana Ross will appear on 29 June, 2021, and The Script perform on 14 July 2021.

Adams will take to the stage at the Cornbury Festival four days after his Eden gig. The Festival’s organiser Hugh Phillimore recently announced that next year’s event, the 17th, will go ahead but with a limited capacity. “We’re re-designing the site to incorporate a range of Covid safety measures which will be in place throughout the festival weekend. We’ll have to limit our capacity and change to a slightly different format but we’re determined to stage another edition of our lovely little festival,” said Hugh.

Regarding Adams’ involvement, Hugh added: “Bryan was a triumph back at our ‘finale’ in 2017 so we’re completely over the moon that he’s decided to return to Cornbury.”
