Tears for Fears have been forced to postpone their forthcoming sold out UK & Ireland arena tour due to unforeseen health concerns and on doctor’s orders.

The tour, due to start on April 27 in Leeds, and finish on May 12 in Brighton has been rescheduled for early 2019.

Tickets for 2018 remain valid for that city’s rescheduled 2019 show, except for Glasgow and Birmingham where the venues have changed and customers will be issued with new tickets by their point of purchase.

For all shows, if you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, please contact your point of purchase for a refund by Sunday 13 May 2018. Head to www.tearsforfears.com for more info.

Tears For Fears appearance at the Bath Festival on 26 May has also been cancelled. BRIT Award winner Paloma Faith will now headline the Saturday night of The Bath Festival Finale Weekend of May 26-27 as an extension to her sell-out summer tour as replacement.

Bath Festivals Chief Executive Ian Stockley said: “We feel for Tears for Fears at this difficult time.  We know they are just as disappointed as their fans not to be able to perform at this year’s finale”. Ticketholders affected by the line-up change have been contacted to reassure them that tickets are still valid and to explain the options available to them.

In a statement, Paloma Faith said: “I’m saddened to hear that illness has struck a member of Tears for Fears, but I’m so glad that I can jump in and make sure everyone has the best time. I promise to give it my all and get everyone up dancing.”
